We built Aspier to help you train smarter — not to sell your data. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.
Your email address and display name when you sign up. We use these to identify you and send service emails (e.g. email verification, password resets).
Anything you log in the app — workouts, sets, meals, body weight, photos, sleep, mood. This data belongs to you.
If you connect Apple Health, we read HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, steps, SpO2, respiratory rate and VO2 max to power your recovery and wellness insights. Health data is fetched on-device, sent to our servers over TLS, and stored encrypted at rest. You can disconnect at any time from Profile → Connected Apps.
Anonymous crash reports and basic usage analytics (which screens you open, errors you hit) so we can fix bugs and improve the app. No personal training data is included in analytics events.
Aspier uses a small number of trusted service providers to operate the service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.
You can, at any time:
Your data stays in our systems as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, all personally identifiable data is removed within 14 days. Anonymous aggregate analytics may persist (e.g. "how many users opened Workout this week") but cannot be traced back to you.
Aspier is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the UK/EU). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If we discover that we have, we will delete it.
If we make material changes we will notify you in-app and via email. Continued use of Aspier after a change means you accept the updated policy.
