Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Aspier. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. The service

Aspier is a fitness and recovery app provided by Aspier Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We offer features for logging workouts, tracking nutrition, generating training plans, and synthesising insights from connected health data.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the UK / EU) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account.

3. Subscription and trial

Aspier offers a 7-day free trial on first sign-up. After the trial expires, full access requires an active subscription.

Subscriptions are billed via Apple's App Store at the price displayed at the point of purchase, currently:

Monthly Pro — £7.99 per month, renews monthly until cancelled.
Yearly Pro — £62.99 per year, renews yearly until cancelled.

How to cancel. Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Aspier → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't pro-rate refunds for partial periods, but Apple may at their discretion.

4. What you can expect from us

Reasonable uptime. We aim for 99% but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
Honest features. We won't claim AI does things it can't.
Data control. Export and delete tools are built in — see Profile → Account & data.
Security. Encryption in transit and at rest. We notify you promptly if there's a breach affecting your data.

5. What we expect from you

Don't share your account with others.
Don't try to break into other users' data, or reverse-engineer the service.
Don't upload illegal content or use Aspier to harass anyone via Support or community features.
Don't scrape or automate the app in a way that degrades it for other users.

6. Health and safety disclaimer

Aspier is not medical advice. Training plans, recovery scores, and nutrition suggestions are informational. Always consult a qualified medical professional before starting any exercise programme or making dietary changes — especially if you have a pre-existing condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from injury.

Recovery metrics derived from third-party devices (Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura, etc.) are estimates. They are not medical-grade measurements.

7. Intellectual property

The app, branding, design, and content (other than your own logged data) belongs to Aspier Ltd. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it personally on devices you own. Your training and nutrition data remains yours.

8. Termination

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time (Profile → Account & data → Delete account). We can suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms — we'll tell you the reason and give you a chance to fix it where reasonable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Aspier Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost income, lost data outside our control, etc.) arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes we'll notify you in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that point means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, unless a consumer protection law in your country gives you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
